Mission Statement: To rescue, rehabilitate and to place into loving, caring, lifelong homes.

Group Information: We are a state licensed, 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue group consisting of temporary homes that take in strays, owner surrenders, and dogs from other shelters. We are a no-kill rescue unless the dog is found to be aggressive. All of our dogs are in a home environment and not a kenneled facility.

New Ways to Support Little Paws

On the right, you’ll see new links providing ways to support LP. At Cafepress, we have a variety of merchandise available, both for humans and pets :).

Good Search and Good Shop are both quick and easy ways to help support LP. All you have to do is click the links on the right, and setup Little Paws as the charity you are donating to. Everytime that you do a simple search that you would have done in Google, Yahoo, or any of the other available search engines, Good Search will donate 1 cent to the rescue. With all of us doing this, in this age of technology, this is a very quick and easy way to help support a rescue which has supported so many dogs. If you are running Firefox, go to this link. Here, you can add GoodSearch to your browser, to take the place of the default Google.

Good Shop is powered by Good Search, and features over 500 vendors that will donate a portion of their profit to the organization. Fundraising Opportunity - Please help!

Cedar Rapids-based artist Santiago Sanchez is recognized internationally for his unique style. With over 40 years of experience, Santiago has mastered the skill of bringing life to art. His paintings have an incredible sense of realism. Santiago also has another passion – saving “at risk” animals. He will soon be releasing an autographed and numbered print. It will be printed on acid-free paper and will be suitable for framing (24” x 30”). Virtually 100% of the proceeds will be donated to local animal shelters and rescue groups.

The limited-edition prints will be available for $100. The general layout of the painting is shown in the attached photo. Santiago has combined his passions for art and helping our loved animals. By adding to your art collection, you can also help the many animals that need a loving, “forever” home.
